President George Bush - President Bush has asked the House and Senate leadership to create and pass a partial birth abortion ban for his signature. A ban was passed by Congress in 2003, was signed by President Bush, and immediately held up in court by the "undue burden" test. Until it travels through the court system this law will not take effect.
